So You’re Thinking About Becoming a Lion
Step #1 - Ask Yourself: Do my goals align with those of Lions?
Lions are groups of service-minded men and women who are interested in improving their communities. Oconomowoc Lions Club provide free vision screening to children. We provide free exams and eyeglasses for children and adults who cannot afford these services. We recycle eyeglasses for distribution to developing countries around the world. We support Wisconsin Lions Camp which serves challenged children with special needs. Whenever a Lions Club get together, problems get smaller and communities get better! That’s because we help where help is needed – in our communities and around the world – with unmatched integrity and energy!
As a Lion, you will:
- Help our community
- Make an impact of people’s lives both locally and internationally
- Learn to be a leader and help guide a respected nonprofit organization
- Network with business people in our community and around the world
- Receive the satisfaction of giving back while having fun.
